We’re in love with our Matterport scans. Here is part 3 in a 3 part series of our latest build, a Home Office.
This Home Office was built for a mental health practitioner who was tired of paying a very high rent on a commercial space. Now, instead of paying a large amount of money every month only to have to travel to and from work, they are able to put money directly into their own property; adding value while eliminating a commute.
When you enter this Home Office, you are greeted by a warm waiting room. Not only is it warm because of it’s calming yellow color and bamboo floors, but because there is a gas fireplace! Sit, have a cup of tea, and enjoy the (limited) wait in comfort. A bathroom is also available for all visitors. A shower was installed to help future-proof the space so that someday it can turn into a detached bedroom or even an ADU.
Finally, one bonus of building a Home Studio (Office in this case) rather than an ADU is that the front setbacks are only 10′ rather than 40′. This Home Office is placed in the front yard for easy access by clients. With a keypad entry, all clients are able to safely come and go.
